The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) hosted the 8th Forensic Engineering Congress in Austin, Texas and published a book of the proceedings that included numerous Forensic Engineering papers. Included within the proceedings was a paper coauthored by Paul Bosela Jr. and Paul Bosela Sr. on the Tropicana Parking Garage collapse. The paper was presented at the Forensic Engineering Congress by Paul Bosela Jr. and several of the technical sessions at the Forensic Engineering Congress were moderated by Paul Bosela Sr.
